This year, with an indescribably refreshing, forward-looking and responsible energy. Only one can be left with hope for the future. If the name seems more than familiar, it is probably because Metta Carter is not completely new - at least not in Denmark. She opened "Children and Youth Laboratory" at the Statens Museum for Kunst in a double concert with Outlandish ft. the now world-famous Noah Carter. Metta's son.
Songs dedicated to the fight against racism, and subsequent DK tour with Photographer Jacob Holdt became a musical milestone for Metta, where philanthropic work and music immaculately belong together. The two met in New York, where Metta Carter had lived for a number of years.
The term "Messagesinger" was given to her at a concert in Seoul, South Korea, where Metta originally came from. Precisely the songwriting Metta has dealt with for many years has led to both nominations "best track at the Danish World Music Awards". Scholarships, foundations and cooperation with especially the Embassy of Korea and South Africa in Denmark.

In 2019, Metta performed at the New Orleans Jazz Festival and Louisiana Heritage Festival with both her own Jazzmosphere duo as well as with Louie Fontaine's Rock band. With support from JazzDanmark.

J A Z Z M O S P H E R E R E A L N E S S In my work, I strive to work musically-sculpturally and visually performatively. My jazz ballads create new universes, which in its live expression are combined with human beatbox, lyrics and song as well as live instrumentation. Through my poetry, I pursue "freedom - out of oppression of especially the female primordial force and origin". Underlying there are deeper themes of "social justice". Music is a symbol of man's relationship to nature in ourselves, the understanding of wholeness.The Earth as Hostess ". With many years as a pioneer in culture / music life, I have created significant progress and growth in the industry and already fostered well-known artists, not least my son DMA wins "Noah Carter" as with more than 8 million. streams sets new international standards.
